Key reasons to attend Apps World North America next month

With a month to go until Apps World North America hits San Francisco on February 5-6, we thought it was time to remind you of just why you should attend the event and let you know there’s still time to book your discounted passes until January 10.
With more than 8,000 developers, mobile marketers, mobile operators, device manufacturers, platform owners and industry professionals expected to attend the event this will be our biggest San Francisco show to date and will feature an array of top talent and inspiration to ensure you kick off your 2014 apps strategy in style. 1)      Our widest range yet of speakers in the US

We already have more than 200 speakers lined up for Apps World North America and will continue to add new names where appropriate to ensure we bring you the very latest expertise and speakers in the world of apps. Our conference line-up includes more than 11 targeted workshop tracks –five of which are free -- and which for the first time will also include a Retail specific track. Each track will feature a wide variety of speakers including keynote speakers such as Neal Edelstein, founder and CEO of Hooked Digital Media in the TV Apps and Second Screen track, Nick Evans, CEO and founder of Tile in Developer World and Kristian Segerstrale, cofounder of Initial Capital, in Gaming World.

3)      Excellent networking opportunities

With speed meetings, 1 to 1 meetings and the general networking opportunities of meeting and greeting more than 8,000 of your peers in the industry Apps World North America offers you the perfect opportunity to meet new contacts that will help advance your business and career. 4)      A free exhibition with more than 200 exhibitors

As usual Apps World North America will also include a free-to-attend exhibition including more than 200 exhibitors to help inspire.

5)      Start-up zones

Following the launch of our start-up zones in 2013 the North America show will include seven themed start-up zones where new innovators can showcase their work to visitors and investors at the event, including Automotive apps zone, Indie Games Zone, MHealth Zone, Wearable and M2M apps, Retail and Food Apps zone, TV Apps Showcase and a general Start-up village too.  There is still limited availability for those start-ups wanting to book their complimentary exhibition space at the show. 6)      Hackfest returns to the US

For the second year running our series of hackathons returns to the US with a TV Hackfest and an Apps Hackfest designed to get your creative juices flowing. As ever there will be great prizes on offer to drive competition in this area with some innovative new ideas hopefully resulting from the competition. There is still time to enter.
