Full speaker line-up revealed for Apps World North America next month

Next month’s Apps World North America will once again deliver an array of the top talent and thinkers in the apps and mobile industry to the show’s expected 8,000 attendees as we reveal the full speaker line-up for the show.

Each of the show’s 11 conference track features keynote speakers sharing their expertise from a line-up of people that include more than 300 high-level industry representatives.

The latest names to join the line-up include Google Chrome developer advocate Paul Irish, who is the keynote speaker in the HTML5 track. He aims to help developers get more productive with tools to allow them to make slicker, sexier mobile web apps. His morning keynote on February 6th is not to be missed.  

In the Gaming Track Tommy Palm, mobile guru at gaming giant King, will deliver the first day morning keynote on Monday February 5th  while renowned gaming entrepreneur, executive and investor in games, consumer internet and technology companies (as well as co-founder of Playfish) Kristian Segerstrale, who is now co-founder of Initial Capital will be involved in a keynote fireside chat on the second day of the conference Feburary 6th.

In the Mobile Strategy and Marketing track a keynote speech from Robert Gelick, senior vice president and general manager for digital platforms for CBS Interactive, will see Gelick discuss how CBS manages mobile and apps across its multiple brands on day one of the show whilst from Unilever the company’s director of global media innovation Jay Altschuler, will use five global case studies to show how mobility is changing the way Unilever builds brands in a keynote session on day two.

And in the Retail track, a new conference track for Apps World, Wendy Bergh, vice president of mobile and digital for US retail giant Walmart, will be discussing Walmart’s mobile and tablet strategy and the role of apps within that.  Meanwhile Sephora’s vice president of mobile Danny Sullivan will be involved in a keynote panel with Staples' senior vice president and general manager of global ecommerce Arun Arora, along with representatives from Levis and Shutterfly, examining how mobile and tablets are changing the retail experience and the future of technology in retail.
